Board of Directors
Along with her role as a member of Lotus' Board of Directors, Natalie teaches Sivananda Yoga at Lotus Center and is a locally-practicing physical therapist.
Originally from North Carolina, she earned a B.S. in Biology from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, and earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree at Western Carolina University. She received her yoga teacher training at the Sivananda Ashram in Nassau, Bahamas and carries forth the traditions of this lineage for Lotus Center.
Natalie is an avid backpacker and gardener and is dedicated to bringing yoga into mainstream medical culture, having attended multiple seminars and symposia on the medical and therapeutic applications of yoga. Prior to moving to Silver City in 2012, Natalie and her husband Ryan travelled around the country and the world for several years as locum tenens physical therapists. Their travels twice brought them to Silver City, where they were always drawn back for the natural beauty and relaxed, yet stimulating culture. Lotus Center provides another reason to feel at home in Silver City, and Natalie is committed to the success of Lotus Center and its mission of availing the benefits of the practices taught therein to the community at large.
